God’s Story of Love Showers Grace began when we hosted our first baby shower with a local church for a young lady, late 2019.
This sparked the idea to continue to love-on mamas needing that support through baby showers with the help of local organizations,
volunteers & churches.

Firefly's Strengthening Families provides services in the home as the first step in identifying underlying issues that can lead to instability and unsafe environments for children. Trained case managers help families understand the importance of defining and working toward family-specific goals. Goals often include securing safe, affordable housing; seeking employment or advancing job skills; learning and using constructive communication and parenting skills and connecting families to resources to address addictions and mental health concerns. The case manager is key in identifying necessary community resources, initiating referrals and ultimately supporting families.
All families deserve to have access to the same opportunities. The Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) program is designed to ensure that low-income families in Indiana have equal access to child care and educational opportunities.
Our family preservation services are focused on resolving family crises to prevent out-of-home placement, while our family reunification services are designed to resolve the circumstances that led to the removal of the child. Both programs focus on educating and empowering all family members to prevent disruption or to achieve reunification. Above all, the program is built to ensure the child’s long-term well-being.
Topics of discussion covered during family preservation or reunification services might include parenting education, communication techniques, identifying rules and boundaries, nutrition, budgeting assistance and stress management, among others.
Recovery Services- Through these services, we’re working to help individuals address past trauma and current struggles. We’re committed to helping our clients move beyond the challenges of substance abuse and substance use disorders, domestic violence, sexual assault and mental health issues by developing strategies to cope and move forward.

Goodwill Nurse Family Partnership offers from up to 28 wks of Pregnancy & until Baby is 2 1/2 yrs- Childcare, Continued Education, Health & Wellness, Housing, Job Skill Development & Training, Other Resources-
Heartland's Anderson Scholar House provides parents with the support and stability they need to focus on their education while raising a family. Located in Anderson, Indiana, Anderson Scholar House includes 12 residential units and is part of a college community dedicated to education and workforce development.
Anderson Scholar House provides Scholars with family advocacy, academic coaching, and life skills training for degree or certification completion.
